The legal system helps to advocate for victims and families of victims wrongfully harmed in motor vehicle collisions. With regards to accidents involving SUVs, catastrophic injuries can result from an SUV accident because of the large size of sport utility vehicles. Carless actions of drivers on the roadways may lead to serious accidents that result in serious injuries or death. Victims may be left with a variety of challenges they did not expect to face following an unexpected SUV accident or loss of a loved one. It is important to keep in mind that the legal process protects victims of SUV accidents and other types of car accidents.

A fatal SUV accident recently left a motorcyclist dead approximately 20 minutes south of Oklahoma City. Police were called to the scene of the SUV accident and found a motorcyclist in a grassy area at the accident site with significant injuries sustained in the accident with the SUV.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital where he later died due to his injuries suffered in the accident. The 24-year old driver of the SUV was also transported to the hospital and was later arrested for first-degree manslaughter.

A claim for damages following a SUV accident, or fatal car accident, may help provide victims and families with some of the support they need to focus on the challenges they face following a SUV accident. A personal injury or wrongful death claim for damages helps victims and families recover a number of different types of damages that may incur, including those for the physical, financial and emotional harm that victims and families may endure following an SUV accident.

Evidence of carelessness on the part of a driver can commonly be established through criminal charges or citations related to the accident. It is important to be aware that drivers who have carelessly harmed victims and their families may be liable to compensate victims and families for the harm they have unnecessarily suffered.
