Oklahoma car accidents: 3 injured in drunk driving-related crash

Police officers in Tulsa were called to a three-vehicle auto accident on Saturday, July 21. Three people suffered injuries in the wreck. It is unclear if any of them had to be transported to a medical facility for treatment. Those individuals who are victims of car accidents in Oklahoma may be entitled to seek compensation for their losses.

A Tulsa news outlet reported that a man was operating his vehicle at about 100 mph in the westbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway when he struck the back end of another car. Both drivers lost control of their vehicles and one or both of them spun into a third car. All three drivers are said to have suffered non life-threatening injuries. Their current conditions are unknown.

According to police, the driver deemed responsible for the wreck admitted to drinking alcohol before the accident occurred. This individual was arrested and has been charged with DUI and speeding. Court dates regarding this matter have not been released to the public.

Drunk driving-related car accidents occur all too frequently in Oklahoma. Thankfully everyone survived this event, but the lives of the victims have likely been forever changed.
